Post and rail suits open ground - paddocks, field boundaries and larger plots where a close board fence isn't needed or practical. Posts are set at even spacing along the run and dug in deep enough to hold against livestock or just general wear over time.
Rails are fixed level along the posts, and treated timber's used throughout so it holds up outdoors. Gates are added wherever you need access, and the run's checked for line and level before I finish up.
